California town to charge residents up to $300 for 911 calls | The People's Republic of Moronia

California town to charge residents up to $300 for 911 calls The People's Republic of Moronia While Jules uses the phrase People's Republic if Moronia in a broader sense, I've long thought the phrase is especially applicable to California. It seems that every ugly, stupid, fascist concept that doesn't come from England infects the nation from this ideological cess-pool of a state that should be ejected from the union for their freedom hating ways. They spend so much money trying to micro-manage the lives of the unfortunates that live there with their invasive nanny-state ways... the state should be ashamed of themselves, with all the tax dollars they take to have the nerve to charge $300 for a 911 call, when the people pay the salaries and benefits of the responders.
