Child Welfare Worker Charged With Rape Of 14-year-old

And, is any thinking person really surprised? Here's the story:

Child welfare worker charged with rape

MEMPHIS, Tenn. An employee of the state Department of Children's Services is charged in Memphis with raping a 14-year-old girl.

Police are trying to determine if other youngsters under his supervision have been assaulted.

Charles Sharp was charged with sexual battery by an authority and accused of orchestrating attacks on the teenager and an 18-year-old woman aboard a state van he was driving.

Another person, D'Army Watson, was charged with statutory rape.

Watson and the 18-year-old woman are under supervision of the Department of Children's Services and were passengers aboard the van with the younger teenager.

Police said Watson is accused of raping the younger teenager while the attack was being videotaped. Sharp is accused of then sexually assaulting both females.
